Club Deportivo Guastatoya is a Guatemalan football club based in Guastatoya, El Progreso Department. They compete in the Liga Nacional, the top tier of Guatemalan football. History The team had its origins under the name of ''Guastatoya Futbol Club'', which was founded in 1990, however, the club was refounded as C.D. Guastatoya in 2005 in the city of Guastatoya in the Department of El Progreso. They have been in the Guatemalan First Division and in the amateur leagues of the country, that until in the 2013/14 season they managed to ascend to the Liga Nacional for the first time in its history, despite not being the champion of the Guatemalan First Division. 2019 CONCACAF League
The 2019 CONCACAF League (officially the 2019 Scotiabank CONCACAF League for sponsorship purposes) was the third edition of the CONCACAF League, a football club competition organized by CONCACAF, the regional governing body of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The tournament was expanded from 16 to 22 teams for the 2019 edition, with the addition of a preliminary round. The six new entrants were five teams from Central America, which had previously directly qualified for the CONCACAF Champions League, and a team from Canada playing in the Canadian Premier League, bringing the total number of teams playing in the CONCACAF League/Champions League from 31 to 32. Marvin Amarini Villatoro de León (born May 6, 1985) is a Guatemalan football coach. He is the current manager of Liga Nacional club Xelajú. Coaching career In 2006, Villatoro joined the coaching staff at Costa Rican club Pérez Zeledón. In 2008, Villatoro achieved promotion to the Guatemalan Segunda División de Ascenso with Los Potros del Tecnológico. In 2009, Villatoro was appointed manager of Sayaxché, helping to the club gain promotion to the Primera División de Ascenso during his time at the club. Following his time at Sayaxché, Villatoro managed Cobán Imperial, Deportivo Carchá and Deportivo Jocotán. In May 2016, Villatoro was appointed manager at Guastatoya. Roque Raúl Alfaro (born 15 August 1956 in Nogoyá, Entre Ríos) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a striker. Playing career Alfaro started his professional career with Newell's Old Boys in the mid 1970s. In 1981, he was signed by Panathinaikos FC in Greece, and he played under the greek surname Bistakis.
