Deportes QuindÃo is a professional Colombian football club based in Armenia that currently plays in the CategorÃa Primera B. The club was founded on 8 January 1951, and its best achievement was winning the 1956 league tournament. They play their home games at the Centenario stadium. The club was called Atlético QuindÃo from 1953 to 1963. History Deportes QuindÃo was founded on 8 January 1951, after a group of high-ranking personalities from the city of Armenia, at that time still part of the Caldas Department, hired the players of Argentine team ''Rosario Wanders'' team, which by the end of 1950 was on a tour of Colombia. After several talks with manager Próspero Fabrini and Moisés Emilio Reuben, who were in charge of the Argentine squad, an agreement was reached and the entire team stayed at Armenia. ''Crescentia cujete'', commonly known as the calabash tree, is a species of flowering plant native to the Americas, that is grown in Africa, Central America, South America, the West Indies and extreme southern Florida. They play their home games at the Palogrande stadium. They were the surprise winners of the Copa Libertadores in 2004. Daniel TÃlger
Daniel Alberto TÃlger (born August 3, 1970) is an Argentine retired football striker who spent most of his career playing in the Colombian league. Club career TÃlger has an extensive career in football. He began professionally at giant Boca Juniors in 1989, but his chances to play were few. In 1991, he moved to Colombia, where he spent the next eight years playing for several first division clubs including Deportes QuindÃo, Independiente Santa Fe, Deportivo Cali, Millonarios and América de Cali among others. The 1966 Campeonato Profesional was the 19th season of Colombia's top-flight football league. 14 teams competed against one another. Santa Fe won their fourth league title. Millonarios Fútbol Club is a professional Colombian football team based in Bogotá, that currently plays in the CategorÃa Primera A. They play their home games at the El CampÃn stadium.
