Club de Deportes Copiapó — or simply Deportes Copiapó — is a Chilean football club based in Copiapó, Atacama Region. Founded in 1999 after Regional Atacama's folding, it currently plays in the Primera B (second-tier) and holds its home games at Estadio Luis Valenzuela Hermosilla which has a capacity of 8,000 spectators. The club has spent the most of its history playing in the Primera B, reaching its promotion to top-level ( Primera División) for the first time in 2022. Its only one honour was the Tercera División title in 2002. It has a rivalry with Cobresal. Estadio Luis Valenzuela Hermosilla is a multi-use stadium in Copiapó, Chile. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches and is the home ground of Club de Deportes Copiapó of the Chilean Primera División B. Gerardo Silva (football Manager)
Gerardo Enrique Silva DÃaz (born 11 January 1962) is a Chilean football manager. Career Born in Rengo, Chile, Silva is a former amateur football player and current football manager who began his career in amateur clubs at the second half 1980s. He has coached at all categories of the Chilean football, but he is better known for getting promotion to Chilean Primera División with O'Higgins in the 2005 season and coached them again in the 2009 Clausura of the top level, replacing the Argentine coach Jorge Sampaoli. Club Deportivo Ñublense () is a professional football team based in Chillán, Ñuble Region, Chile. The club was formed in 1916 under the name of Liceo Fútbol Club. They compete in Chile's Primera División league.
