Denny Vaninger
Dennis "Denny" Vaninger is a former U.S. soccer forward who spent seven seasons in the North American Soccer League and at least two seasons in Major Indoor Soccer League. He earned three caps, scoring one goal, with the U.S. national team. He also won the 1971 U.S. Amateur Cup with St. Louis Kutis. He continues to coach youth soccer in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. Player Early career Vaninger grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended St. Mary's High School where he played on the boys' soccer team. The team won the 1970 Missouri State high school championship. That season, Vaninger scored twenty-three goals. After graduating from high school, Vaninger attended St. Louis Community College, St. Louis Florisant Valley Community College from 1970 to 1972. Indoor soccer or arena soccer (known internationally as indoor football, fast football, or showball) is five-a-side version of minifootball, derived from association football and adapted to be played in walled hardcourt indoor arena. Steve Pecher
Steve Pecher (born St. Louis, Missouri) is an American former soccer defender who is currently the Missouri Girls Director of St Louis Scott Gallagher. Youth and college Pecher began playing soccer with the youth club, Florissant Cougars, then with his high school team at Normandy High School in St. Louis. He was part of the team which took the Missouri state championship in 1974, his senior year. He was also All State both his junior and senior years. The next year attended Florissant Valley Community College where he played on the national junior college championship team in 1975. He was a junior college All American both years at Florissant.
