Dennis Van Winden
Dennis van Winden (born 2 December 1987) is a Dutch professional road bicycle racer, who last rode for UCI Professional Continental team . Career Amateur career Born in Delft, van Winden joined the in 2007 at the age of 19, where he enjoyed success at the Under-23 level in his three seasons with the team, taking several wins including the national Under-23 time trial title and a stage of the Tour de l'Avenir, as well as a third-placed finish in the U23 Liège–Bastogne–Liège. Professional career He subsequently turned professional with in 2010. In November 2012 he underwent surgery to correct a kink that had developed in an internal iliac artery in his right leg, however he contracted an infection from the surgery which resulted in months of further treatment, leaving him unable to return to competition until May 2013. Rund Um Köln
The Rund um Köln is a classic cycling race around the German city of Cologne. Since 2005 it is part of the UCI Europe Tour, being organised as 1.1 race (in 2007 the race was categorised as 1.HC). Tour De Bretagne Cycliste
Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, also known as the Tour de Bretagne trophée des granitiers and formerly known as Ruban Granitier Breton, is an annual early season professional road bicycle racing, cycling stage race held in late April and early May in Brittany, France. The race often acts as a show case for upcoming riders of the under 23 category who race together with Elite riders. The race was renamed Tour de Bretagne in 2005 when the race also became a professional race. The 2007 edition was dominated by Lars Boom and Edvald Boasson Hagen who both wore the leader's jersey and won stages of the race. The 2008 edition was dominated by the Rabobank (cycling), Rabobank team with defending champion Lars Boom and Coen Vermeltfoort winning two stages each. 2018 Arctic Race Of Norway
The 2018 Arctic Race of Norway was a four-stage cycling stage race that took place in Norway between 16 and 19 August. It was the sixth edition of the Arctic Race of Norway and is rated as a 2.HC event as part of the UCI Europe Tour. Race schedule Teams 19 teams were invited to take part in the race. Five of these were UCI WorldTeams; 12 were UCI Professional Continental teams; four were UCI Continental teams. The Czech Cycling Tour is a multi-day road cycling race held annually in the Olomouc region in the Czech Republic. The race was created in 2012, as a 1.1 race on the UCI Europe Tour, after financial issues curtailed the Delta Tour Zeeland stage-race, which had been held since 2008. The first race was won by South African rider Reinardt Janse van Rensburg of the team. The first three editions of the race were held in June, but for the 2015 edition, the race was moved to March. Olympia's Tour
The Olympia's Tour is a cycling stage race held in the Netherlands. History A.S.C. Olympia was founded in Amsterdam on 27 November 1898. It ran one-day races but wanted a race through all the Netherlands. The first Olympia's Tour was in 1909, with three stages and one rest day. The second in 1910 went to Maastricht and Groningen. It was 17 years before the third race, partly because races on public roads were forbidden in the Netherlands during the First World War. An international field with 16 Germans, the champions of Switzerland and Luxembourg and around 40 Dutch riders left the Rembrandtplein on 17 August 1927. The Dutch were mainly amateurs, the Germans sponsored riders who rode for bicycle manufacturers such as Opel and Diamant which provided material and a support team. The German Rudolf Wolke won after four stages and 800 kilometres ahead of Janus Braspennincx. It was the last race until 1955.
