Dennis Aase
Dennis Aase (born February 23, 1944) is an American race car driver, a member of the All American Racers team. Between 1978 and 1988, he regularly placed in the top 10 of the IMSA circuit. Racing career 1970s Aase started his racing career in 1973, participating in two different class races in the American Road Race of Champions for Don Burns Racing, finishing 5th and 11th respectively. The following year, in 1974, Aase entered the 1974 Watkins Glen 6 Hours with Scooter Patrick, driving for himself. He also entered the Mexico 1000 kilometers in a Porsche 911 S, alongside Adrian Gang, finishing 9th overall. Aase also joined the 1974 American-Canadian Challenge Cup, driving a Porsche in the four races. He finished 8th in the overall standings. Grand American Road Racing Championship
The Rolex Sports Car Series was the premier series run by the Grand American Road Racing Association. It was a North American-based sports car series founded in 2000 under the name Grand American Road Racing Championship to replace the failed United States Road Racing Championship. Rolex took over as series sponsor in 2002. It ran a mixture of classes of sports prototypes and Grand Touring-style cars. In 2003, the series debuted their custom prototype chassis, known as Daytona Prototypes, named after their premiere event, the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Vernon Gordon 'Bob' Kirby (22 June 1911 – 27 September 1994) was a South African tennis player. Biography Kirby was educated at the Durban High School where he played cricket and football. He started tennis at the age of five and played in his spare time while at school. In May 1931 Kirby and his teammate and compatriot Norman Farquharson, were runners-up in the doubles final of the French Championships, losing in straight sets to the American pair George Lott and John Van Ryn. In July he won against George Lyttleton-Rogers in the final of the Wimbledon Plate, a tournament for players who were defeated in the first or second rounds of the singles competition at the Wimbledon Championships.
