Deniz Kılıçlı
Mükremin Deniz Kılıçlı (born October 23, 1990) is a Turkish professional basketball player for Pınar Karşıyaka of the Basketbol Süper Ligi (BSL). Collegiate career Freshman season After missing the first 20 games of the season because of a suspension delivered by NCAA for playing on a team in his native country that included a professional player, Kılıçlı made his Mountaineers debut in February 2010, and helped make an immediate impact. Professional career After going undrafted in the 2013 NBA draft, Kılıçlı signed a contract with his homeland team Anadolu Efes Istanbul. In his first Euroleague season with the team, he averaged 1.9 points and 1.7 rebounds over 9 games. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. Basketball At The 2013 Mediterranean Games – Men's Tournament
The basketball tournament at the 2013 Mediterranean Games in Mersin took place between 18 June and 25 June. The men's tournament was held at the Servet Tazegül Arena. A women's tournament was also planned, but was cancelled because too few teams applied. Participating nations Following nations applied to compete in men's tournament. Albania and Greece declared the withdrawal of their teams from the Games on May 10, 2013. Algeria will be participating in place of Albania. At least six nations competing is the requirement for tournament to be held. The Turkey women's national volleyball team ( tr, Türkiye Kadın Voleybol Milli Takımı) is formed by the Turkish Volleyball Federation (TVF) and represents Turkey in international CEV and FIVB organizations. The 2013–14 Turkish Airlines Euroleague was the 14th season of the modern era of Euroleague Basketball and the fourth under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 57th season of the premier competition for European men's clubs. Euroleague Basketball Company, in its annual meeting in Barcelona, determined the site of the season's Euroleague Final Four venue. West Virginia Mountaineers
The West Virginia Mountaineers are the athletic teams that represent West Virginia University, an American university located in Morgantown, West Virginia. The school is a member of National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I. The Mountaineers have been a member of the Big 12 Conference since 2012. At that time, the Mountaineers joined the Mid-American Conference as an affiliate member for men's soccer. The two major sports at the university are football (played at Milan Puskar Stadium) and basketball (played at the WVU Coliseum), although many of the other sports have large followings as well.
