Denise Brosseau
Denise Brosseau (Sorel, 5 July 1936 - Montreal, 2 April 1986) was a Mexican-Canadian actress, also known as Denise Brossot, Denise Brousseau, Denise Sorel, Denise Jodorowsky and Denise Jodelle. She held a main role in ''La Cravate'', the first movie of Alejandro Jodorowsky. Biography Denise Brosseau was born in Sorel, Quebec, Canada, in 1936. She was interested in acting since her youngest age, which is why she travelled to Paris with the journalist Francoise Gaudet-Smet. In France, she met the theater and film director Alejandro Jodorowsky, with whom she got married. In the 1960s both travelled to Mexico. In Mexico she met the abstract painter Fernando Garcia Ponce and married him 27 April 1972, after her divorce from Jodorowsky. Some years after her marriage with Garcia Ponce she decided to acquire Mexican citizenship. In 1976 the couple traveled to Paris, together with their only son. Jacques Canetti
Nessim Jacques Canetti (30 May 1909, Ruse, Bulgaria – 7 June 1997, Suresnes) was a French music executive and a talent agent. Born into a Sephardic Jewish family, his parents were Jacques Elias (Elieser) and Mathilde (Mazal) (née Arditti) Canetti. He was the brother of the Nobel Prize-winning author Elias Canetti (1905–1994) and of Georges Canetti (1911–1971), a researcher and professor at the Pasteur Institute. Canetti studied at the École des Hautes Études Commerciales. Canetti joined the Polydor record company in 1931. There, he persuaded Marlene Dietrich to record her first album of French songs, and also worked on recordings of classical music by the Galimir Quartet. He had developed a strong interest in jazz, and organised "Jazz Hot" tours of jazz artists to university towns, during the course of which he brought Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, and Duke Ellington to France.
