Denis Aleksandrovich Lebedev (russian: Денис Александрович Лебедев; born 14 August 1979) is a Russian former professional boxer who competed between 2001 and 2019. He is a former unified world cruiserweight champion, having held the WBA title from 2012 to 2018, and the IBF title in 2016, and challenged once for the WBO title in 2010. In August 2016, Lebedev was ranked as the world's best active cruiserweight by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board (TBRB). In November 2019, he was ranked as the world’s ninth best active cruiserweight by BoxRec. Professional career Early career Lebedev turned pro in 2001. Enzo Maccarinelli (born 20 August 1980) is a Welsh former professional boxer who competed from 1999 to 2016. He held the WBO cruiserweight title from 2006 to 2008. At regional level, he held the European and British cruiserweight titles between 2010 and 2012, and the Commonwealth light-heavyweight title in 2013. Guillermo Jones (born May 5, 1972) is a former Panamanian professional boxer. He held the WBA cruiserweight title from 2008 to 2012, and challenged twice for the WBA super welterweight title in 1998. An interim championship is an alternate title that is awarded by the sanctioning bodies of professional boxing, and in other combat sports such as kickboxing, professional wrestling, and mixed martial arts. Occasionally, the champion of a particular weight division is temporarily unable to defend his championship because of medical, legal, or other reasons beyond the competitor's control. When this case occurs, two highly ranked contenders may fight for an interim championship of the same weight division – leading to two champions existing in the same weight division simultaneously.
