Denis Dallan
Denis Dallan (born 4 March 1978) is an Italian rugby union footballer. His usual position is on the wing. He plays for the Italian club Amatori Milan. Dallan has been capped for the national team and was a part of its squad at the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia. Playing career Dallan was born in Asolo, province of Treviso. He played for Benetton Treviso in Italy and for Stade Français Paris, a top club in the elite level of domestic French rugby, the Top 14. He then played for Venezia Mestre, before moving to Amatori Milan in October 2009. He made his first appearance for Italy in 1999 and since then has earned 40 caps for the national team. He made his Test debut against Scotland on 6 March, although earlier that year he played for Italy against a non-cap French XV, and in 1997 he represented Italy 'A' against Denmark. Asolo
Asolo () is a town and ''comune'' in the Veneto Region of northern Italy. It is known as "The Pearl of the province of Treviso", and also as "The City of a Hundred Horizons" for its mountain settings. History The town was originally a settlement of the Veneti, and was mentioned as Acelum in the works of Pliny. Its citizens were inscribed into the Roman tribe ''Claudia''. It was called Acelum in the acts of a synod held in Marano in 588 or 591, since one of the participants was ''Agnellus episcopus sanctae Acelinae ecclesiae''; the name Asolo was already in use by the time of a synod held in Mantua in 827 (or perhaps 835), at which the participation of ''Arthemius episcopus Asolensis'' is noted. The Top 14 () is a professional rugby union club competition that is played in France. Created in 1892, the Top 14 is at the top of the national league system operated by the French National Rugby League, also known by its French initialism of LNR. There is promotion and relegation between the Top 14 and the next level down, the Rugby Pro D2. The fourteen best rugby teams in France participate in the competition, hence the name Top 14. The competition was previously known as the Top 16. Denmark National Rugby Union Team
The Denmark national rugby union team is governed by Dansk Rugby Union and has been playing international rugby since 1949. DRU now has nearly 2,500 members in more than 30 clubs. The DRU Superliga is the highest tier of the national rugby union competition in Denmark. Most of the national team's players play in the local league, however a handful of them play in amateur clubs in England, Sweden and France. There are no professional players that play for Denmark.
