Denis Arkhipov
Denis Mikhailovich Arkhipov (russian: Денис Михайлович Архипов; born May 19, 1979) is a Russian former professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League with the Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks between 2000 and 2007, and then in the Kontinental Hockey League between 2008 and 2013. Internationally Arkhipov played for the Russian national team at the junior and senior level, including the 2003 and 2006 World Championships. Playing career Arkhipov was selected 60th overall in the third round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, the second choice of the Nashville Predators. He made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut on January 8, 2001 in a 2–1 loss against the Vancouver Canucks in Vancouver. 2004–05 NHL Lockout
The 2004–05 NHL lockout was a labor lockout that resulted in the cancellation of the National Hockey League (NHL) season, which would have been its 88th season of play. The main dispute was the league's desire to implement a salary cap to limit expenditure on player salaries, which was opposed by the NHL Players Association (NHLPA), the players' labor union, who proposed an alternative system of revenue sharing. Attempts at collective bargaining before the season began were unsuccessful. The lockout was initiated on September 16, 2004, one day after the expiration of the existing collective bargaining agreement (CBA), which itself had been the result of the 1994–95 lockout. Vladimír Országh (born May 24, 1977) is a Slovak former professional ice hockey player. Now he is head coach of HC Slovan Bratislava and assistant coach of Craig Ramsay at the Slovak representation. Playing career As a youth, Országh played in the 1991 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a team from Poprad. Tommy Mikael Salo (born February 1, 1971) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey goaltender and the current general manager of Leksands IF of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL).
