Behind Crimson Eyes is a band based in Australia. The band formed in Melbourne, Victoria, Melbourne, Australia, in 2004. Their line-up currently consists of vocalist Josh Stuart, bassist Garth Buchanan, guitarist/back up vocalist Aaron Schultz and Dan Kerby as drummer. Band history Since forming in 2004, Behind Crimson Eyes has played the Melbourne leg of the Taste Of Chaos tour in 2005, after which they sold out all but one show on their national headline tour, clocking up over 150 shows in 2005. Somewhere Back in Time World Tour was a concert tour by the Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Iron Maiden in 2008 and 2009, focused on the band's 1980s material, in particular songs from ''Powerslave'', ''Somewhere in Time (Iron Maiden album), Somewhere in Time'' and ''Seventh Son of a Seventh Son''. The tour tied in with the second part of the DVD series, entitled Live After Death, "The History of Iron Maiden", and prompted the release of a new greatest hits compilation, ''Somewhere Back in Time''. The tour was advertised as a way of bringing back the 1980s stage show and forgotten "classics" for an audience of younger fans, not having been born in time to witness the original. Big Day Out
The Big Day Out (BDO) was an annual music festival that was held in five Australian cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Adelaide, and Perth, as well as Auckland, New Zealand. The festival was held during summer, typically in January of each year but was sometimes held as late as early February in some cities including Perth. The event was conceptualised after the Violent Femmes announced a tour of Australia. Promoters Ken West and Vivian Lees sought another act as middle-level support for the band's tour. They succeeded in securing Nirvana to play the Sydney leg at the Hordern Pavilion. The Big Day Out debuted on the 1992 Australia Day public holiday in Sydney and eventually expanded to Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth the following year.
