DeLisle Worrell
Dr. DeLisle Worrell is a former governor of the Central Bank of Barbados. He served as governor from November 2009 until March 2017. He has also served as executive director of the Caribbean Centre for Money and Finance (CCMF). Since June 2018, he is a member of the Financial Policy Council of the Bermuda Monetary Authority. Lake Tasiujaq (french: lac Tasiujaq; iu, Tasiujaq, script=Latn (which resembles a lake)) is a large triangular-shaped inland bay located on east side of Hudson Bay just above 56th parallel north in Quebec, Canada. Delisle, Saskatchewan
Delisle () is a town in south central Saskatchewan, Canada. It is located southwest of Saskatoon beside Highway 7. History The origins of the town go back to original settlement which was on the Old Bone Trail. It derived its name from the DeLisle family. Lenora DeLisle with her four sons Amos, Fred, Ed and Eugene, came from North Dakota, United States, in 1903 and homesteaded on the land south of the present-day townsite. With the coming of the Canadian Northern Railway's line from Saskatoon to Calgary in 1908 the settlement to the south moved to the new townsite. The town was named after the brothers on December 29, 1908. Delisle was named a town in 1913. DeLisle () is a census-designated place (CDP) in Harrison County, Mississippi, United States. It is part of the Gulfport–Biloxi Metropolitan Statistical Area. Delisle (crater)
Delisle is a small Lunar craters, lunar impact crater in the western part of the Mare Imbrium. It was named after French astronomer Joseph-Nicolas Delisle. It lies to the north of the crater Diophantus (crater), Diophantus, and just to the northwest of the ridge designated Mons Delisle. Between Delisle and Diophantus is a sinuous rille named Rima Diophantus, with a diameter of 150 km. To the northeast is another rille designated Rima Delisle, named after this crater. The rim of Delisle is somewhat polygonal in form and it has a low central rise on the floor. There is some slight slumping along the inner wall, but overall the rim is still relatively fresh with little appearance of significant wear. The De Lisle carbine or De Lisle Commando carbine was a British firearm used during World War II that was designed with an integrated suppressor. That, combined with its use of subsonic ammunition, made it extremely quiet in action, possibly one of the quietest firearms ever made.
