Delcourt (publisher)
Delcourt is a French publishing house that specializes in comics and manga. It was founded in 1986 through the fusion of the magazines ''Charlie Mensuel'' and ''Pilote''. Guy Delcourt, chief editor of the latter, named the new publishing house Guy Delcourt Productions. Delcourt is the third largest publisher of Franco-Belgian comics, behind Média-Participations and Glénat, and produces some 480 comics a year. Aquablue
''Aquablue'' is a French science fiction graphic novel by writer Thierry Cailleteau with several artists, Olivier Vatine (first volumes) and Ciro Tota (middle volumes) and Stéphane Brangier ('Siro', latest volumes). An adventure and military-based series, it also features ecological themes and criticism of colonial exploitation. Much of the series has been translated into German and parts into English. Plot ''Aquablue'' centers around the adventures of Wilfried Morgenstern, also known as Nao, is young Human orphan and one of the sole survivors of the ''White Star'' cruise spaceliner wreck. ''De cape et de crocs'' is a French comic book swashbuckling series, created by writer Alain Ayroles and artist Jean-Luc Masbou. It is notable for its many references to classical culture and occasional nods to modern references. Synopsis In the 17th-century Venice in an alternative world where humans and some animals live together and even can be coupled, Don Lope de Villalobos y Sangrin, a Spanish wolf, and Armand Raynal de Maupertuis, a French fox, are hired by old and rich Cénile Spilorcio to retrieve a treasure map from a Turkish ship. Dragon Hunters ( French: ''Chasseurs de dragons'') is an animated fantasy comedy television series created by Arthur Qwak and produced by the French company Futurikon and Tooncan. It follows the adventures of two hunters for hire through a medieval world of floating land masses that is terrorized by a widely varying menace of monsters known collectively as dragons. ''Après'' is the sixteenth studio album by American rock singer Iggy Pop. Background Consisting partly of covers sung in French, it was released on 9 May 2012 on Thousand Mile Inc after the album was rejected by Virgin EMI Records. Pop said his record company would have 'preferred that I do a rock album with popular punks' and that "They didn't think they would make any money, they didn't think my fans would like it - very sensible attitudes for a sensible sort of person - but that's a different sort of person than I am."
