Delaware St. John
''Delaware St. John'' is the collective name given to a series of three adventure games produced by Big Time Games, which was founded in 2004. Lighthouse Interactive (now defunct) was the retail publisher for these adventure games. The story follows the adventures of psychic ghost hunting detective Delaware St. John. The series author Bryan Wiegele self-published a prequel novel in PDF (portable document format), which establishes how the primary characters Delaware and Kelly Bradford originally met. Development Conception Bryan Wiegele had ideas for an adventure game series for some time. While working on '' Whiplash'' he realised he missed the adventure gaming genre and began to think of what he would do in his own game. He was bothered by the flaws within '' Inherent Evil'', a game he had worked on, and wanted to use the lessons learnt to make a better follow-up. Lighthouse Interactive Game Publishing B.V. was a video game publisher established in 2005 by industry veterans. With its head office in Haarlem, The Netherlands and a satellite office in Montreal, Canada, the company grew quickly and went on to establish offices in Toronto, Canada, and London, England. The company was best known for publishing iconic titles such as the ''Sword of the Stars'' series, the ''Ship Simulator'' series and many other critically acclaimed titles. The company was also the publisher of German Publisher dtp, in Scandinavia, UK and North America. In 2008 the company was acquired by the Canadian publicly traded company SilverBirch, in a cash transaction on 31 July 2008. Psychic
A psychic is a person who claims to use extrasensory perception (ESP) to identify information hidden from the normal senses, particularly involving telepathy or clairvoyance, or who performs acts that are apparently inexplicable by natural laws, such as psychokinesis or teleportation. Ghost hunting is the process of investigating locations that are reported to be haunted by ghosts. Typically, a ghost-hunting team will attempt to collect evidence supporting the existence of paranormal activity. Ghost hunters use a variety of electronic devices, including EMF meters, digital thermometers, both handheld and static digital video cameras, including thermographic and night vision cameras, night vision goggles, as well as digital audio recorders. Whiplash (video Game)
''Whiplash'' is a 2003 platform video game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox where a long-tailed weasel named Spanx and a rabbit called Redmond find themselves chained to one another and follows their adventures as the pair endeavor to find a way out of the warehouse of the product testing corporation known as Genron, run by the animal-hating CEO Franklin D. Mann. The game is a 3D platformer, with Spanx being controlled by the player for the majority of the game, and Redmond used more in combat or as a means of traversing the world.
