DeLane Fitzgerald is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Southern Utah University, a position he has held since 2022. Fitzgerald served as the head football coach at Frostburg State University from 2014 to 2021 and at Southern Virginia University from 2009 to 2013. He played college football at James Madison University from 1997 to 1999. Early life, playing career, and education Fitzgerald was born in Lovingston, Virginia. His collegiate football playing career began at Potomac State College from 1995 to 1996. As a sophomore, he was named team captain and was a Lough Award as well as a Student-Athlete Award winner. After his Sophomore season, Fitzgerald transferred to James Madison University for the 1997 through 1999 seasons. He helped lead James Madison to an 8–4 record in 1999 landing the Dukes a spot in the NCAA playoffs and a share of the Atlantic 10 Conference championship. DeLane Matthews (born August 7, 1961) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Beth Barry in the CBS television sitcom ''Dave's World'' from 1993 to 1997. Life and career DeLane Matthews was raised in northern Florida. She moved to Manhattan after being hired to join the Kennedy Center/Juilliard School Acting Company. Acting in theater productions, she appeared Off-Broadway in ''City Boys'' at the Jewish Rep, and ''Pieces of Eight'' at The Public Theater. Dennis Delane (died April 1750) was an Irish stage actor who appeared for many years at the leading London theatres. Beginnings in Dublin Delane was educated at Trinity College, Dublin and originally intended to become a lawyer.Highfill, Burnim & Langhans p.286 His first appearance as an actor took place about 1728 at the Smock Alley Theatre, Dublin, then under the management of Thomas Elrington. Delane supported successfully a large round of characters in tragedy and comedy, his principal parts being Alexander in Lee's ‘Rival Queens’ and Young Bevil in the ‘ Conscious Lovers’ of Richard Steele. Move to London High terms were offered him by Henry Giffard for London, and he opened at Goodman's Fields in 1730, presumably 24 November, as Chamont in the ‘Orphan.’ His success was conspicuous and immediate.
