Deidson Araújo Maia
Deidson Araújo Maia, better known as Veloso (Montes Claros, 21 May 1983), is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Currently plays for XV de Piracicaba. Biography Born in Montes Claros, Minas Gerais state, Veloso started his career in São Paulo. In April 2005, he signed a 4-month contract with Mogi Mirim for 2005 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C. He worked as backup keeper for Márcio Kessler. In April 2006 he signed a 1-year extension. He also signed a 5-month deal in December 2005 and a 5-month deal in July 2005. Montes Claros
Montes Claros is a city located in northern Minas Gerais state, in Brazil. The population is 413,487 (2020 est.) in an area of . It was made a seat of a municipality in 1831 and attained city status in 1857. History The region was originally inhabited by the and Amerindians. 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
In 2008, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, the third division of the Brazilian League, was contested by 64 clubs, four of which qualified to the Série B. For the second time in history, Atlético Goianiense were crowned Série C champions. Following them, former Série A champions Guarani were also promoted, along with Campinense and Duque de Caxias. The new, revamped 20-club round robin Série C in 2009, will be contested by the clubs which finished from 5th to 20th this season, plus the four relegated from Série B 2008. The Copa do Brasil 2008 was the 20th staging of the Copa do Brasil, starting on February 13, 2008 and finishing on June 11, 2008. It was played by 64 teams, either qualified through their respected state championships (54) or by the CBF Rankings (10).
