''Defcon 5'' is an Action-adventure game, action-adventure video game developed by Millennium Interactive. It was released for MS-DOS in 1995, and ported to PlayStation (console), PlayStation, Sega Saturn and 3DO Interactive Multiplayer in 1996. The name refers to the condition used to designate normal peacetime military readiness under the DEFCON system, but which is commonly misused in popular fiction to indicate a state of emergency. The game was originally announced under the title ''Incoming''. Plot As a "cyberneer" working for the fictional Tyron Corporation, the player character is tasked with installing automated defence software at the deep space mining installation MRP-6F, a large compound located around the top of a crater in which mining operations take place. Its purpose is to defend the mining installation from hostile attack. Guerrilla Cambridge (formerly SCE Studio Cambridge) was a British video game developer based in Cambridge, England. The studio was founded under Sony Computer Entertainment in July 1997 through the buyout of the game development division of CyberLife Technology. ''Computer Game Review'' was a print monthly magazine covering both computer gaming and video gaming. The magazine was started in 1991. Also known as ''Computer Game Review and 16-Bit Entertainment'', and then later as ''Computer Game Review and CD-Rom Entertainment''. The headquarters of the magazine which was part of Sendai Publication Group was in Lombard, Illinois. ''Play'' is a monthly magazine produced by Future Publishing in the United Kingdom, which reports on Sony's PlayStation product range. It had been published by Imagine Publishing but closed in 2016. It was resurrected as a replacement for the official UK PlayStation magazine in May 2021. Before it originally closed, it had become the UK's longest-running PlayStation magazine. Issue 269, the magazine's final printed edition was published in April 2016 when it become a digital only publication for a short time. As well as being sold in the UK, ''PLAY'' is also sold in Australia. Though because of the distance between the two countries, Australia is one month behind, so some of the information may be inaccurate or old.
