''Deewar'' is an Indian television series that aired on DD National channel. The series was also shown on TV Asia channel in the United States. Plot The show is based on the story of a guy named Purshottam, who is in jail. He has been in prison for the last ten years. It is said that although his term is a lifer and that means a minimum of fourteen years, there is a possibility of him being released within the next six months. Mukesh Khanna (born 23 June 1958) is an Indian actor, talk show host and producer who works in Hindi language films and television shows. He is best known for his portrayal of Shaktimaan, the superhero character in ''Shaktimaan'' (1997–2005) and Bhishma in ''Mahabharat'' (1988–1990), and also for his appearances in ''Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara'' (2012–2013).
