Deerghasi Vizai Bhaskar
Dr. Deerghasi Vizai Bhaskar, born in 1958, in Ampolu village of Srikakulam district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. He hails from a poor family and started writing dramas when he was twenty two years . His debut play was Turpu Tellanrindi which portrayed the woes of Weavers . Though he started his literary career with short story writing on the advice of Kalipatnam master switched over to Play writing under the guidance of S . K . MISRO a veteran stage director . Sangeet Natak Akademi (The National Academy of Music, Dance and Drama in English) is the national level academy for performing arts set up by the Government of India.
