Dee Sterling (born February 3, 1986 in Kingston, Ontario) is a professional Canadian football defensive lineman who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. He was drafted by the Eskimos in the second round of the 2009 CFL Draft. Queen's Golden Gaels
The Queen's Gaels (also known as the Queen's Golden Gaels) is the Athletics program representing Queen's University at Kingston in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Team colours are blue, red, and gold. The main athletics facilities include Richardson Memorial Stadium, the Queen's Athletics and Recreation Centre, Nixon Field and Tindall Field. Queen's teams have had a variety of successes both provincially and nationally. Their most recent U SPORTS National Championship was awarded to the Women's Rugby program, who hoisted the Monilex Trophy on home soil at Nixon Field in 2021. Frontenac Secondary School
Frontenac Secondary School is a high school in the west-end of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, operated by the Limestone District School Board. Its sports teams play under the nickname "Frontenac Falcons". History Frontenac Secondary School was founded in 1957 as Collins Bay High School and adopted its current name in 1964. Frontenac's enrollment is around 1,200 students. In 2006, construction began on a major extension which includes a new library, a media room, an elevator, and several additional computer labs and classrooms. Kingston is a city in Ontario, Canada. It is located on the north-eastern end of Lake Ontario, at the beginning of the St. Lawrence River and at the mouth of the Cataraqui River (south end of the Rideau Canal). Edmonton Eskimos
The Edmonton Elks are a professional Canadian football team based in Edmonton, Alberta. The club competes in the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a member of the league's West Division and plays their home games at the Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium. Defensive Lineman
In gridiron football, a lineman is a player who specializes in play at the line of scrimmage. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line, while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line. 2009 CFL Draft
The 2009 CFL Draft took place on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM ET on TSN. 48 players were chosen from among 774 eligible players from Canadian universities across the country, as well as Canadian players playing in the NCAA. U Sports football is the highest level of amateur play of Canadian football and operates under the auspices of U Sports (formerly Canadian Interuniversity Sport).
