Dee Hepburn
Dee Hepburn (born 7 November 1961) is a Scottish former actress. She starred as Dorothy in the 1981 film ''Gregory's Girl'', and played Anne-Marie Wade in the ITV Network, ITV soap opera ''Crossroads (UK TV series), Crossroads'' from 1985 to 1988. Early life Hepburn grew up in East Kilbride, Calderwood, East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. She is the fourth of five daughters born to dental technician Bobbie Hepburn and his wife Madeline. Acting career After training in acting and dancing, she took a part as a schoolgirl in STV (TV network), STV's production of ''The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (novel)#Film.2C TV or theatrical adaptations, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie'' where she was credited as Dory Hepburn. Gregory's Girl
''Gregory's Girl'' is a 1980 Scottish coming-of-age romantic comedy film written and directed by Bill Forsyth and starring John Gordon Sinclair, Dee Hepburn and Clare Grogan. The film is set in and around a state secondary school in the Abronhill district of Cumbernauld. ''Gregory's Girl'' was ranked No. 30 in the British Film Institute's list of the top 100 British films of the 20th century, and No. 29 on ''Entertainment Weekly''s 2015 list of the 50 best high school movies. Plot Gregory Underwood is an awkward teenager who plays on his school football team. They are not doing very well, so the coach holds a trial to find new players. ''It's a Knockout!'' is a British game show first broadcast in 1966. It was adapted from the French show ''Intervilles'', and was part of the international ''Jeux sans frontières'' franchise. History The series was broadcast on BBC1 from 7 August 1966 to 30 July 1982; thereafter a number of specials were broadcast until 25 December 1988. An episode was made by TVS for ITV which aired on 28 May 1990 as part of its ITV Telethon that year with Bernie Clifton as the host.
