Dedi Ben Dayan
David "Dedi" Ben Dayan ( he, דוד "דדי" בן דיין; born November 22, 1978) is a retired Israeli football defender. Biography Playing career Ben Dayan started his career at Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he saw limited action over the span of 5 seasons. After a break out 2000–01 season, Ben Dayan was called up to the Israel national football team by then manager, Richard Møller Nielsen, for a friendly against Hungary. His most successful club season though was in 2001–02 when he started and helped the club win the Israel State Cup having not played a single fixture in the club's previous cup title. In 2002, Ben Dayan was transferred to Hapoel Petah Tikva where he would start each match but was unimpressive, usually being the first player substituted. He moved on to Hapoel Kfar Saba but after the club was relegated and Ben Dayan was left in 2003 looking for a new club in a little less than a year. Israel National Under-21 Football Team
The Israel national under-21 football team ( he, הנבחרת הצעירה של ישראל בכדורגל) is the national under-21 football team of Israel and is controlled by the Israel Football Association (IFA). It is considered to be the feeder team for the senior Israel national football team. It has recently qualified for the European Championships to be held in the Netherlands after beating the French under-21 team 2–1 on aggregate. This team consists of Israeli players aged 21 or under at the start of each two-year UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship campaign, so players can be, and often are, up to 23 years old. Fernando Caetano Clavijo Cedrés (January 23, 1956 – February 8, 2019) was a Uruguayan-American soccer defender and former head coach of the New England Revolution and Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer. He played three seasons in the American Soccer League, two in the North American Soccer League and ten in the Major Indoor Soccer League. He earned 61 caps with the United States men's national soccer team and eight with the U.S. national futsal team. Guy Melamed ( he, גיא מלמד; born September 12, 1979 in Haifa) is a retired Israeli soccer Defender (association football), defender. Melamed went to the United States to play college soccer at Boston College, and was a four-year starter for the Eagles. He was named All-Big East Conference (1979–2013), Big East his last three years in school. However, his status as a senior international turned off many MLS teams, and he slipped to the fourth round of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft, where he was taken by the Colorado Rapids with the 43rd pick. Israel "Eli" Guttman (or Gutman, he, אלי גוטמן; born 24 February 1958) is an Israeli former football player and manager who most recently managed Maccabi Haifa, before officially announcing his retirement from the football world, stating health issues as the main reason. Hapoel Kfar Saba F.C. ( he, מועדון כדורגל הפועל כפר סבא, ''Moadon Kaduregel Hapoel Kfar Saba'') is an Israeli football club based in Kfar Saba. The Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina''), is a knockout cup competition in Israeli football, run by the Israel Football Association (IFA). The State Cup was first held in 1928 as the People's Cup. Because it involves clubs of all standards playing against each other, there is the possibility for "minnows" from the lower divisions to become "giant-killers" by eliminating top clubs from the tournament, although lower division teams rarely reach the final.
