Declan Walsh
Declan Walsh (born 1989) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who played for Malin GAA, Malin (the northernmost GAA club in Ireland) and the Donegal county football team, Donegal county team. He was part of the Donegal team that won the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. He later transferred to a club in Monaghan. Early life Walsh's father was prominent in his local GAA club. He recalls his father coaching underage teams. As a young fella he played traditional music in one or two All Ireland Fleadhs. Playing career Walsh won the 2006 Ulster Minor Football Championship with Donegal. He played for Donegal throughout the Ulster Under-21 Football Championship in 2010, a competition which Donegal won, and in the semi-final of which (against Derry county football team, Derry), Walsh scored a point. Letterkenny
Letterkenny ( ga, Leitir Ceanainn , meaning 'hillside of the O'Cannons'), nicknamed 'the Cathedral Town', is the largest and most populous town in County Donegal, a county in Ulster, the northern province in Ireland. Letterkenny lies on the River Swilly in East Donegal in the north-west of Ulster, and has a population of 19,274. It is the 36th largest settlement in all of Ireland by population (placing it ahead of Sligo, Larne, Banbridge, Armagh and Killarney), and is the 15th largest settlement by population in the province of Ulster (most of which comprises the separate jurisdiction of modern-day Northern Ireland). Neil McGee (born 13 November 1985) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for Gaoth Dobhair and, formerly, both the Donegal county team and the Ireland international rules football team. From Gweedore in County Donegal, he won three All Stars, one All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, five Ulster Senior Football Championships and one National Football League with his county, an Ulster Senior Club Football Championship with his club and two International Rules Series with his country. The 2012 Ulster Senior Football Championship was the 124th installment of the annual Ulster Senior Football Championship held under the auspices of the Ulster GAA. It was won by Donegal who defeated Down in the final to retain the title they won the previous year. The winning Donegal team received the Anglo-Celt Cup, and automatically advanced to the quarter-final stage of the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
