Brian Deck
Brian Deck is an American music producer and member of band Red Red Meat. He co-founded Idful Studios in 1988. Since becoming a full-time producer, Deck has worked with bands and artists including Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine, Califone, All Smiles, Fruit Bats, Gomez, The Grates, Holopaw, Baby & Hide, David Singer and David Berkeley. Brian currently works at Narwhal Studios (formerly Engine Studios) in Chicago. Musician Brian Deck attended college as a performance major and excelled at both drum set and general percussion instruments. On many of the albums Brian produces, he contributes some sort of instrument or vocal. Many of his albums include extensive percussion instruments and techniques. While recording the band Red Red Meat at Idful Studios he was asked to join the band behind the kit. He remained there until the bands disbanding in early 2000. Gabriel Alejandro "Gaby" Deck (born February 8, 1995) is an Argentine professional basketball player for Real Madrid of the Liga ACB and EuroLeague. At a height of 1.98 m (6'6"), he can play at both the small forward and power forward positions. Nathan Deck (born March 26, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He is currently an unrestricted free agent who last played with Swedish club, Mora IK of the HockeyAllsvenskan (Allsv). Deck began his professional career with the 2011–12 season, playing 60 games in the ECHL with the Stockton Thunder. René Deck (born 8 June 1945) was a Swiss international footballer who played as a goalkeeper for a number of clubs in Switzerland, Greece and Germany. Club career Deck began his career in Switzerland, playing several seasons with Grasshopper Club Zürich. He won the goalkeeper of the year award three times. Théodore Deck
Joseph-Théodore Deck (2 January 1823 – 15 May 1891) was a 19th-century French potter, an important figure in late 19th-century art pottery. Born in Guebwiller, Haut-Rhin, he began learning the trade in his early 20s, moving to Paris at age 24. In 1856 he established his own faience ( earthenware) workshop, Joseph-Théodore Deck Ceramique Française, and began to experiment with styles from Islamic pottery, and in particular the Iznik style. When Japonisme arrived in the 1870s he embraced this and other art pottery trends with enthusiasm, finally conquering the French establishment when he was made art director of Sèvres porcelain in 1887.
