Decibel is an independent record label based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin founded in 1994. It debuted with the industrial music album '' Abduction'' by Alien Faktor released the same year. History The Milwaukee based Decibel was founded in 1994 by composer Tom Muschitz. The label was initially established to release the debut album by Muschitz's project Alien Faktor, but soon after focused on issuing records by artists who were influenced by industrial informed electronic music. It served as an outlet for musical acts such as Morpheus Sister and Oneiroid Psychosis Oneiroid Psychosis is an American dark wave musical duo consisting of brothers Lars and Leif Hansen. Originally known simply as Psychosis, they were discovered by Decibel Records in 1993 and have been making music using the name Oneiroid Psychos .... Tom Muschitz
Alien Faktor were an American electro-industrial group based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. Created as a solo musical project by multi-instrumentalist Tom Muschitz, Alien Faktor was influenced by EDM, soundtrack and industrial music. The band released four studio albums for Decibel: '' Abduction'' (1994), '' Desolate'' (1995), '' Listen!'' (1996) and '' Arterial Spray & Cattle Mutilations'' (1997). History Alien Faktor began in 1991 as a solo musical project for Tom Muschitz out of Milwaukee. In 1994 Muschitz created the record label Decibel which the made its debut with Alien Faktor's '' Abduction'' album. Its compositions were informed by soundtrack and electronic dance music. They followed up with a second album in 1995 titled '' Desolate'' that received praise for its stylistic variety. Decree (band)
''Decree'' is a Canadian industrial band from Vancouver that was founded by Chris Peterson and John McRae in 1991. However, writing and gathering ideas started around 1989. Both musicians have also been working together at the beginning of the 1990s in the electronic music band Will. Decree released their debut album, Wake of Devastation, in 1996. They subsequently released Moment of Silence in 2004 and Fateless in 2011. In 2018, Artoffact Records released a vinyl collection of the band's albums on vinyl. ''Gigapus'' is the tenth studio album by the Australian electronic music group Severed Heads. Recorded between 1992 and 1994, the album was first released in 1994 with a bonus CD-ROM disc titled ''Metapus'' that had additional multi-media content on it. Because of this, it is the first album released in Australia to include a CD-ROM disc. Due to the extra disc, the album was initially priced at $40 when it first came out. As with most of the Severed Heads discography, the album has been reissued multiple times. Track listing All songs written by Tom Ellard.
