Debbie Greenwood
Debbie Greenwood (born 16 September 1959 in Liverpool) is a British television presenter and a former beauty queen who won the title of ''Miss Great Britain'' in 1984. Career Greenwood began her broadcasting career in 1984, presenting regional programmes for Granada Television. She then moved on to the BBC's '' Breakfast Time'' (1985–1986), which included broadcasting from a special studio outside Buckingham Palace for the wedding of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. During 1987–1989, she presented on BBC Radio 2 daytime programmes, beginning with standing in for Gloria Hunniford at Christmas 1987. She later presented ''Streetwise'' (1989–1990) for '' The Channel 4 Daily''. She also presented the UK version of the short-lived game show '' Love Me, Love Me Not'' in 1988, as well as the more successful BBC quiz for schoolchildren '' First Class'', which aired on BBC1 from 1986 to 1988. Kingston upon Thames (hyphenated until 1965, colloquially known as Kingston) is a town in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, southwest London, England. It is situated on the River Thames and southwest of Charing Cross. Paul Coia (born 19 June 1955 in Glasgow) is a Scottish television presenter and continuity announcer who was the first voice to be heard on Channel 4 on its launch in 1982. His career originally began in the late 1970s as a DJ and in the early 1980s he became an announcer. He has presented television shows including ''Pebble Mill at One'' and ''Catchword''. He is currently covering shows for BBC Radio London. Shop at Bid was a British television shopping channel that ran daily auctions and later fixed price demonstrations. It was the world's first channel of its kind. It launched as ''Bid-Up.tv''. The channel was owned by Bid Shopping. History Bid-Up.TV (2000–2005) The channel was launched by Bid Shopping, Sit-Up Shopping in October 2000. It originally broadcast 12 hours a day, much of which was pre-recorded, with auction graphics overlaid so people could bid. TV Travel Shop
TV Travel Shop was a British television channel that sold holidays. It launched in April 1998, primarily on satellite and cable, broadcasting between 6am and 5pm, sharing space with Challenge. In 1999, the channel began broadcasting 24 hours a day. In 2000, the channel launched on ONdigital, using capacity from ONrequest 2 (later ITV Select 2), and broadcast 6am-12pm weekdays, and 6am-10am weekends, free to air on channel 44. Its hours were extended in January 2002 to be broadcast from 6am-6pm daily. However, after the demise of ITV Digital, TV Travel Shop made a deal with the multiplex operator, SDN, to carry the channel 24 hours a day using the newly freed up capacity.
