''Death on the Nile'' is a 2022 mystery film directed by Kenneth Branagh from a screenplay by Michael Green, based on the 1937 novel of the same name by Agatha Christie, and the second big screen adaptation of Christie's novel, following the 1978 film. It was produced by Branagh, Ridley Scott, Judy Hofflund and Kevin J. Walsh, as a sequel to 2017’s ''Murder on the Orient Express''. Sir Kenneth Charles Branagh (; born 10 December 1960) is a British actor and filmmaker. Branagh trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and has served as its president since 2015.
