Death By Sexy
''Death by Sexy'' is the second album by the American rock group Eagles of Death Metal. It was rumoured to be released in summer 2005 but was pushed back to April 11, 2006. The album cover of ''Death by Sexy'' has elements similar to the covers of The Rolling Stones' 1971 album ''Sticky Fingers'', Mötley Crüe's 1981 album ''Too Fast For Love'', and Loverboy's 1981 album '' Get Lucky''. The track "Don't Speak (I Came to Make a Bang!)" was featured in a 2008 Nike commercial directed by Guy Ritchie, which included the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimović, Cristiano Ronaldo, Cesc Fàbregas, and Ronaldinho. It is also featured in the 2006 video game '' Need for Speed: Carbon''. The track "Chase the Devil" is featured in the 2006 video game ''Tony Hawk's Project 8''. Eagles Of Death Metal
Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998. Founded by Jesse Hughes (vocals, guitar) and Josh Homme (drums), the band also includes a wide range of other musicians who perform both on the band's studio albums and at live shows. Hughes and Homme are the only permanent members of the band, with Homme rarely performing at live shows due to commitment to his other band, Queens of the Stone Age. The band's current touring line-up includes Hughes alongside Josh Jove (guitar), Eden Galindo (guitar), Jennie Vee (bass) and Jorma Vik (drums). Despite their name, Eagles of Death Metal are not a death metal band, and the name is intended to be humorous. A DVD magazine under the ''Uncut'' brand was published quarterly from 2005 to 2006. ''Get Lucky'' is the second studio album by Canadian hard rock band Loverboy. It was released on October 7, 1981, by Columbia Records. The album reached number 7 on the ''Billboard'' 200 album chart, remaining on the chart for over two years, and has sold over 4 million copies in the United States. It featured the singles " Working for the Weekend", " When It's Over", "Lucky Ones", and "Take Me to the Top.” According to Scott Smith's notes on the Greatest Hits album ''Big Ones'', the song "Take Me to the Top" is actually the demo version "complete with out of tune bass" because the band couldn't quite capture the sound in the studio. Loverboy is a Canadian rock band formed in 1979 in Calgary, Alberta. Loverboy's hit singles, particularly " Turn Me Loose" and "Working for the Weekend", have become arena rock staples and are still heard on many classic rock and classic hits radio stations across Canada and the United States. After being rejected by many American record labels, they signed with Columbia/CBS Records Canada and began recording their first album on March 20, 1980. ''Too Fast for Love'' is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. The first edition of 900 copies was released on November 10, 1981, on the band's original label Leathür Records. Elektra Records signed the band the following year, at which point the album was remixed and partially re-recorded. This re-release, with a different track listing and slightly different artwork (e.g., red lettering on the cover and a different interior photograph of the band), has become the standard version from which all later reissues derive. The re-recorded album also removed the song "Stick to Your Guns", though it is featured on a bonus track version of the album.
