''Death Scream'' is a 1975 American television film, made-for-television crime film, crime drama film loosely based on an actual event concerning the real-life account of "Kitty Genovese, a young woman whose murder was witnessed by fifteen of her neighbors who did nothing to help and refused to cooperate with the police."Marill, Alvin H. In the early hours of March 13, 1964, Kitty Genovese, a 28-year-old bartender, was raped and stabbed outside the apartment building where she lived in the Kew Gardens neighborhood of Queens in New York City, New York, United States.
