Giuseppe Vari (9 March 1924 – 1 October 1993) was an Italian film director, editor and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Segni, Rome, Vari started his career as an editor of films and documentaries, collaborating among others with Federico Fellini, Damiano Damiani and Giorgio Simonelli. In 1953 he made his directorial debut with ''Infame accusa'', then specialized in melodramatic films. From the early sixties he focused on genre films, especially Spaghetti Westerns, sometimes being credited as Joseph Warren. Hélène Chanel (born Hélène Stoliaroff; 12 June 1941 in Deauville, Calvados, France) is a French actress of Russian heritage. She was active in the 1960s in a variety of European international co-productions of sword and sandal, Eurospy and Spaghetti Westerns. She was credited with a variety of names such as Hélène Chancel, Helen Chanel, Sheryll Morgan, Helen Stoliaroff and Hélène Stoliaroff. This list of Spaghetti Western films includes Western films primarily produced and directed by Italian production companies between 1913 and 1978. For a list of non-Italian produced European Westerns see List of Euro-Western films. In the 1960s, the Spaghetti Western genre grew in popularity. Pietro Martellanza (30 September 1938 – 1 February 2010), best known as Peter Martell, was an Italian film actor who had numerous bigger roles in Spaghetti westerns. Sometimes he was credited as Pete Martell or Peter Martel. Born in Bolzano, he started his career in cinema as a stuntman. He was mainly active in the 1960s and 1970s, appearing in about 70 films. After a longer break he starred in some movies again from 2002 on. Martell was chosen as the leading actor in '' God Forgives... I Don't!'', but the day before the first shoot he broke his foot during a fight with his girlfriend and was replaced by Terence Hill, which started Hill's successful partnership with Bud Spencer. Giuseppe Addobbati (31 December 1909 – 4 January 1986) was an Italian film actor known for his roles in Spaghetti Western and action films in the 1960s and 1970s. He was often billed as John MacDouglas for films released to an American audience. Addobbati was born in Makarska and later lived in Trieste. He made over 80 film appearances between 1937 and 1980 often as a police officer or law enforcer. Carole André-Smith (born 11 March 1953) is a French-Italian former actress. Her best known role was Kabir Bedi's love interest Lady Marianna, nicknamed "", in the successful RAI series ''Sandokan'' (1976). Since retiring from acting, she has been the International Marketing Director at Cinecittà Studios, as well as an architect and interior designer.
