Death Before Dishonor VIII (DBD VIII) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH), which was only available online. This marked the 8th event entitled ROH Death Before Dishonor, Death Before Dishonor, with this being the event's first time on pay per view. Eric Maher (born December 30, 1983) is an American professional wrestler, who is known by the ring name Eddie Edwards. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling where he is a former two-time Impact World Champion, two-time Impact X Division Champion and a five-time Impact World Tag Team Champion with Davey Richards. In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. "The role of a heel is to get 'heat,' which means spurring the crowd to obstreperous hatred, and generally involves cheating and pretty much any other manner of socially unacceptable behavior that will get the job done." Tag team wrestling is a type of professional wrestling in which matches are contested between teams of multiple wrestlers. The Kings Of Wrestling
The Kings of Wrestling was a professional wrestling stable that worked on the independent circuit. It was formed in Chikara as a large stable, but also appeared in numerous promotions mainly as a tag team of Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli.
