Dear Life (album)
''Dear Life'' is the fifth studio album by Canadian country music duo High Valley and the group's debut major-label release. It was released on November 18, 2016 through Atlantic Records and Warner Music Nashville. The American track listing for the album features two tracks from the duo's previous album, ''County Line'' (2014), in place of two of the newly recorded songs, notably removing the Canadian lead single, " Every Week's Got a Friday" in favour of " Make You Mine". Background Following the departure of founding member Bryan Rempel in March 2014, High Valley returned as a duo and released their fourth studio album, ''County Line'' in October of that year. High Valley is a Canadian country music band from Blumenort, Alberta, a small community near the hamlet of La Crete. The group is composed of Brad Rempel (lead vocals) and his supporting band, Dave Myers (bass guitar), Sam Bergeson (vocals), Raymond Klassen (Dobro), Clint Milburn (guitar), and Andrew Hemmerling (drums). CFQX-FM (104.1 MHz) is a country radio station in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Owned by Jim Pattison Group, the station currently operates out of studios at 177 Lombard Avenue in downtown Winnipeg. CFQX's transmitter is located in the Rural Municipality of Springfield. History The station went on the air in November 1981 as an easy listening station on 92.9 FM. It changed to the country format in 1986. In 1987, the station received approval to move from 92.9 FM to 104.1 FM. In 1997, CFQX was granted a license amendment to move from 104.1 FM to 95.3 FM, although the move was never implemented. Larche Communications
Larche Communications was a Canadian media company, which operated four radio stations in the province of Ontario. The company was named for its president, Paul Larche. Based in Midland, the company began in 1997 when it acquired CICZ-FM in Midland. Larche later expanded to Waterloo when it was licensed to open a new station, CIKZ. The company later entered an agreement with Rogers Media in 2007, selling CIKZ to that company in exchange for CICX-FM in Orillia. Larche's application for a new radio station in Sudbury was also approved by the CRTC on July 12, 2007. This station, CICS-FM, officially launched on August 18, 2008. CICS-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts at 91.7 FM in Sudbury, Ontario. The station airs a country format, branded as ''Pure Country 91.7''. The studio and offices are located at 699 Frood Road in Sudbury, and the station transmits a 50,000 watt signal from the CBC tower. History Originally owned by Larche Communications, the station was licensed by the CRTC on July 12, 2007. CKRM is an AM radio station in Regina, Saskatchewan, broadcasting at 620 kHz. Owned by Harvard Media, CKRM broadcasts a full service country format. Alongside music programming, CKRM is notably the flagship station of the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League, and the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League. The Canadian Hot 100 is a music industry record chart in Canada for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine.
