Maybe (No Angels Song)
"Maybe" is a song performed by all-female German pop group No Angels. It was written and composed by Pelle Ankarberg, Niclas Molinder, Maryann Morgan, and Joacim Persson and originally recorded by American- Norwegian pop singer Trine Rein, featuring strings by violinist Andreas Ljones. An uplifting pop rock song that features a heavy guitar riff sample, it incorporates an uncredited sample of The Beatles' 1969 number-one record " Come Together", while its lyrics revolve around relationship that is built upon contingence and hesitancy. In October 2006, Rein and Ljones qualified for the Melodi Grand Prix 2007 with the song, the television show in which the Norwegian entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was chosen. It eventually finished the contest in the final round, losing to Guri Schanke's "Ven a bailar conmigo". The same year, "Maybe" was also recorded by the re-formed No Angels for their fourth studio album, '' Destiny'' (2007). Produced by frequent collaborators Twin ...

Maybe (Enrique Iglesias Song)
"Maybe" is a song written by Enrique Iglesias, Steve Morales, Kara DioGuardi, and David Siegel for Iglesias' second English-language album, ''Escape'' (2001). Iglesias stated in many interviews that the song was his favorite track from the album ''Escape''. In 2002, the album was reissued with two new tracks, one of which was a reworking of the song dubbed the "Mark Taylor Mix". This version changed the song from a rhythmic piano based ballad into a slower guitar-driven song. This version of the song was released as the fifth single from the album. "Maybe" caused minor controversy when Britney Spears debuted a new song during her Dream Within a Dream Tour called "My Love Was Always There", which features similar lyrics to the chorus of Iglesias's "Maybe" as well as the same melody throughout the song. The single was released on 18 November 2002, reaching number one in Romania and becoming a top-40 hit in Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Track listi ...

Maybe (Emma Bunton Song)
"Maybe" is a song by English singer Emma Bunton from her second solo studio album, '' Free Me'' (2004). "Maybe" was released on 13 October 2003 as the album's second single and entered the top 40 on various record charts. Bunton performed an edit of the song as her solo performance on The Return of the Spice Girls tour. Production The unusual inspiration behind the song was a soundtrack album of 1970s German porn music; Bunton and her collaborators "found some ideas out of that". She described the process as "mad" and "hilarious", while noting the style of the finished song is reminiscent of its origins. Critical reception A 2004 review of the album ''Free Me'' by BBC Music described the song as "a perfect pastiche of French fluffy '60s bubblegum pop". In 2006, Talia Kraines of the same website said the song had a "beehive razzamatazz". Commercial performance "Maybe" deb ...
