Deanna Bogart (born September 5, 1959, Detroit, Michigan, United States), is an American blues/fusion singer, pianist, and saxophone player/composer/arranger/producer. Background She began her career in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. area of Maryland Maryland ( ) is a state in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. It shares borders with Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia to its south and west; Pennsylvania to its north; and Delaware and the Atlantic Ocean to ... with the ensemble Cowboy Jazz, and following that band's breakup in 1986, a stint playing with Root Boy Slim.
