Dean Refram
Dean Refram (November 8, 1936 – July 28, 1991) was an American professional golfer and golf course architect. Refram was born in Miami, Florida. He attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, and was a member of the golf team. Refram played on the PGA Tour in the 1960s and 1970s. He won twice on tour: the 1968 Robinson Open and the 1975 Walt Disney World National Team Championship The Walt Disney World Golf Classic was an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Bobby Cole (golfer)
Robert Eric Cole (born 11 May 1948) is a South African professional golfer. Early life Cole was born in Springs, South Africa. As a child, he was influenced by the careers of Bobby Locke and Gary Player. After suffering a bicycle accident related knee injury, Cole took up golf at the age of eleven. He won both the South Africa junior golf championship and the Vaal Amateur. Amateur career In 1966, Cole won the British Amateur at Carnoustie, Scotland, at age 18, the youngest winner to that stage. Cole held the record as youngest-ever winner of the tournament until Matteo Manassero won the event in 2009, at age 16. Cole also held the record as the youngest player to play in and make the cut at the Masters Tournament, in 1967, at just short of 19 of age, until Manassero, in 2010, again beat his record. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf. Charlie Sifford
Charles Luther Sifford (June 2, 1922 – February 3, 2015) was an American professional golfer who was the first African American to play on the PGA Tour. He won the Greater Hartford Open in 1967 and the Los Angeles Open in 1969. He also won the United Golf Association's National Negro Open six times, and the PGA Seniors' Championship in 1975. For his contributions to golf, Sifford was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2004. He was awarded the Old Tom Morris Award in 2007, the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2014, and an honorary doctorate from the University of St Andrews.
