Deadline Music
Deadline Music is a record sub-label wholly owned and operated by Cleopatra Records. Deadline was founded at the turn of the century during a revival of 1980s glam/ hair metal bands in which there were new albums from Quiet Riot, White Lion, Warrant, Cinderella, Bret Michaels, and L.A. Guns. The label produced a series of compilations, including ''This Is Hair Metal'', ''More '80s Hair Metal'', and the box set ''Hollywood Rocks!''. Deadline released an album by Queensrÿche in April 2013. The band had split into two factions with founding vocalist/frontman Geoff Tate leading a new group of musicians while the remaining members carried on with a new vocalist. Dubbed "The Heaviest Rÿche Ever", Tate's version of the band included longtime guitarist Kelly Gray plus Quiet Riot bassist Rudy Sarzo and AC/DC drummer Simon Wright. Cleopatra Records is an American independent record label based in Los Angeles, California. It was founded in 1992 by Brian Perera. Carl Thomas Keifer (born January 26, 1961, Springfield, Pennsylvania) is an American singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter for the rock band Cinderella. Early life Tom Keifer grew up in a musical family and began playing guitar at a young age. Keifer soon fell in love with the blues and was heavily influenced by this kind of music. Keifer joined his first rock band while in junior high school. He soon learned to play the electric guitar. The young musician struggled with drug and alcohol abuse in high school, and considered dropping out of school to pursue a music career. Twisted Sister
Twisted Sister was an American heavy metal band originally from Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, and later based on Long Island, New York. Their best-known songs include " We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock", both of which were associated with music videos noted for their sense of slapstick humor. Henry Lawrence Garfield (born February 13, 1961), known professionally as Henry Rollins, is an American singer, writer, spoken word artist, actor, and presenter. After performing in the short-lived hardcore punk band State of Alert in 1980, Rollins fronted the California hardcore band Black Flag from 1981 to 1986. Jon Mikl Thor (born 1953), better known as simply Thor, is a Canadian bodybuilding champion, actor, songwriter, screenwriter, historian, vocalist and musician. BulletBoys is an American hard rock/glam metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1986. The group's original lineup was composed of singer Marq Torien (formerly of Ratt, King Kobra, and Kagny & the Dirty Rats), guitarist Mick Sweda, bassist Lonnie Vencent, and drummer Jimmy D'Anda. Cinderella was an American Rock music, rock band formed in 1983 in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band emerged in the mid-1980s with a series of multi-platinum studio albums and hit singles whose music videos received heavy MTV rotation and popularity. Cinderella initially had a glam metal sound throughout the late 1980s before shifting into a more blues rock-based sound during the early to mid 1990s. By the mid-1990s, the band's fame declined precipitously due to personal setbacks, break-ups, and changes in the American music industry.
