Ron Hutchinson (screenwriter)
Ron Hutchinson (born 8 November 1946) is a Northern Irish screenwriter, playwright, and author. He is a four-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee, winning once for writing the screenplay for the television film '' Murderers Among Us: The Simon Wiesenthal Story'' (1989). Career Among his other productions were ''Slave of Dreams'' (directed by Robert M. Young), the play ''Moonlight and Magnolias'', and the 2004 miniseries ''Traffic''. He has written extensively for theatre. In 2004, Hutchinson wrote ''Moonlight and Magnolias''. The play at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, Illinois was nominated for the 2004 Joseph Jefferson Award for New Work. Monaural or monophonic sound reproduction (often shortened to mono) is sound intended to be heard as if it were emanating from one position. This contrasts with stereophonic sound or ''stereo'', which uses two separate audio channels to reproduce sound from two microphones on the right and left side, which is reproduced with two separate loudspeakers to give a sense of the direction of sound sources.
