Dead Europe
''Dead Europe'' is a 2012 Australian drama film directed by Tony Krawitz. It is an adaptation of the 2005 novel by Christos Tsiolkas with the same name. Peter Galvin from SBS gave the film three stars out of five, noting that the film is "dark, and emotionally claustrophobic" and is "tough to sit through". He also observes that ''Dead Europe'' "is a puzzle film, a movie where one is asked to work hard at deciphering its strangeness." Christos Tsiolkas
Christos Tsiolkas is an Australian author, playwright, and screenwriter. He is especially known for '' The Slap'', which was both well-received critically and highly successful commercially. Several of his books have been adapted for film and television. Early life Tsiolkas was born and raised in Melbourne with his Greek immigrant parents, and was educated at Blackburn High School. Tsiolkas completed his Arts Degree at the University of Melbourne in 1987. He edited the student newspaper '' Farrago'' in 1987.
