Dayglow
Sloan Christian Struble (born August 10, 1999), is an American singer, songwriter, and producer from Aledo, Texas. He is best known as the founder and lead of the indie pop project Dayglow. Dayglow released its debut album, ''Fuzzybrain'', on September 28, 2018. Dayglow performing members include bassist Peyton Harrington, drummer Brady Knippa, keyboardist Norrie Swofford, guitarist Colin Crawford, and in the past have included guitarist Nate Davis, drummer Reece Myers, keyboardist Nico Fennell, bassist Eric Loop, and saxophonist Marshall Lowry. Personal life Struble was born in Aledo, Texas. At 11 years old, he started to work with Garageband to teach himself how to play guitar, bass, keyboard, synthesizer and drums, as well as produce and mix to create music. He started attending the University of Texas at Austin in 2018, where he studied advertising. Harmony House (Dayglow Album)
''Harmony House'' is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter and producer Sloan Struble, under his stage name Dayglow. It was released on May 21, 2021, through Very Nice Records in partnership with AWAL. ''Harmony House'' was announced in February 2021, following the re-release of Struble's debut album ''Fuzzybrain'' (2019) and the success of his single "Can I Call You Tonight?". ''Harmony House'' received generally favorable reviews from music critics. The album was supported by five singles, that "Close to You", "Something", "Woah Man", "Balcony", and "Medicine". After the release of the album, Struble headlined the Harmony House Tour. Background After the release of the extended version of Dayglow's debut album, ''Fuzzybrain'', Struble planned to embark on a sold-out headlining show in early 2020. AWAL (an initialism of Artists Without a Label) is a British music distribution company owned by Sony Music Entertainment. The company serves as an alternative to the traditional music label deal, offering deal structures to artists and independent labels without them giving up ownership or control. In 2021, Sony Music Entertainment purchased AWAL from Kobalt Music Group for $430m. Services AWAL's main service is digital music distribution, but also includes marketing, physical distribution, data analytics, radio, and synchronization licensing. AWAL's artists keep their music and creative rights, unlike the traditional record label. GarageBand
GarageBand is a line of digital audio workstations developed by Apple Inc. for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS devices that allows users to create music or podcasts. GarageBand is developed by Apple for macOS, and was once part of the iLife software suite, along with iMovie and iDVD. Its music and podcast creation system enables users to create multiple tracks with pre-made MIDI keyboards, pre-made loops, an array of various instrumental effects, and voice recordings. Apple positions GarageBand for the consumer market. For the professional market, Apple offers another product, Logic Pro. History GarageBand was developed by Apple under the direction of Dr. Gerhard Lengeling. Dr. Lengeling was formerly from the German company Emagic, makers of Logic Audio.
