Dayana Mendoza
Dayana Sabrina Mendoza Moncada (born 1 June 1986) is a Venezuelan actress, model, film producer and director. She is also a former beauty queen, winner of the titles of Miss Venezuela 2007 and Miss Universe 2008. Dayana Mendoza, in 2012, participated in ''Celebrity Apprentice'', with magnate Donald Trump. In 2018, she ventured as a producer and director of films. Personal life Dayana Mendoza, was born in Caracas and her parents are Willy Mendoza and Laura Moncada from the states of Táchira and Aragua (Venezuela). Miss Universe 2008
Miss Universe 2008 was the 57th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Vietnam on July 14, 2008. This was the first time that the Miss Universe pageant was broadcast in 1080i High-definition. At the end of the event, Riyo Mori of Japan crowned Dayana Mendoza as Miss Universe 2008. It is Venezuela's first victory in 12 years, and the fifth victory of the country in the pageant's history. Contestants from 80 countries and territories competed in this year's pageant. The pageant was hosted by Jerry Springer and member of the UK pop group Spice Girls Mel B. American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga performed in this year's pageant. (born December 24, 1986) is a Japanese actress, dancer, model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Universe 2007 in Mexico City. Personal life An only child, Riyo Mori began dancing at the age of 4. She has studied at Quinte Ballet School of Canada and also is a graduate from Centennial Secondary School in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Yoseph Alicia Machado Fajardo (; born December 6, 1976) is a Venezuelan-American actress, TV host, singer and beauty queen who was Miss Venezuela 1995 and then Miss Universe 1996. She was the fourth woman from Venezuela to be named Miss Universe. Early life Machado was born in Maracay, Venezuela. Miss Universe 1996, the 45th Miss Universe pageant, was held on May 17, 1996 at Aladdin Theatre for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Crown Convention Center is an indoor arena in Nha Trang, Khánh Hòa Province, Khánh Hòa, Vietnam. It is the third biggest Convention Center on Southeast Asia, placed after the Sentul International Convention Center in Indonesia, with an arena of 1,500 square meters, and was built in 2008. The Diamond Bay or the Nha Trang Tourism and Entertainment Area is 14 km away from the centre of the Nha Trang, Nha Trang city.
