''Day of Redemption'' is a business-themed romantic drama film directed by Lawrence Lau (the Lee Rock series, starring Andy Lau, and Queen of Temple Street) and starring Vic Chou (aka Zai Zai, a member of the popular Taiwanese group F4), Tong Yao, Cao Yunjin, and Bai Yu. The film was co-financed bGehua Cultural Development Group Beijing's cable company, anPalette Pictures LLC ''Day of Redemption'' tells the story of the beautiful entrepreneur Zhou Ting, a young and pretty entrepreneur that fights to protect her lingerie business from a hostile takeover from her former college sweetheart, now an ambitious businessman. But as his rich, jealous girlfriend takes part in the dispute, the two former lovers reignite their old flame. The movie was theatrically released on July 19, 2013, in mainland China, nationwide. Lawrence Ah Mon or Lawrence Lau Kwok Cheong (劉國昌) (born 1949) is a Hong Kong film director. His films are notable for their lurid exploration of the problems of the poor in modern Hong Kong, such as ''Gangs'' (1986), ''Spacked Out'' (2000), ''Gimme Gimme'' (2001) and ''City Without Baseball'' (2008). Andy Lau Tak-wah (; born 27 September 1961) is a Hong Kong actor, singer-songwriter and film producer. Vic Chou () is a Taiwanese actor and singer. He is a member of the Taiwanese boy band F4. F4 (band)
F4 (Flower Four) or JVKV was a Taiwanese boy band consisting of Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu, and Vic Chou. The group F4 was formed in 2001 after the Taiwanese drama '' Meteor Garden'' that they starred in was widely successful. Together they have starred in several Taiwanese drama series and released three albums, ''Meteor Rain'' (2001), '' Fantasy 4ever'' (2002), and '' Waiting for You'' (2007). According to ''Forbes'', F4 has sold 3.5 million copies of their first two albums all over Asia as of July 2003.
