Howard Eugene Day (August 13, 1951 – September 23, 1982) was a Canadian comics artist best known for his work on Marvel Comics' ''Star Wars'' licensed series and '' Master of Kung Fu''. He was considered a mentor by independent comic writer/artist Dave Sim. Biography Early career Gene Day began his career with Canadian underground and independent comics, for which he published the short-lived title ''Out of the Depths'' in 1974, and collaborated with Dave Sim on ''Oktoberfest Comics'' #1 (Now and Then Publications, 1976). Day also penciled for Skywald Publications' horror comics magazines ''Psycho'' and ''Nightmare'', starting in late 1974, as well as the science fiction-oriented ''Orb''. For Mike Friedrich's early independent-comics company Star Reach, Day variously wrote/drew stories in 1977 and 1978 for the namesake anthology title ''Star Reach'' and its sister magazines ''Imagine'' and ''Quack'', the latter a talking animal comic. Kingston, Ontario
Kingston is a city in Ontario, Canada. It is located on the north-eastern end of Lake Ontario, at the beginning of the St. Lawrence River and at the mouth of the Cataraqui River (south end of the Rideau Canal). The city is midway between Toronto, Ontario and Montreal, Quebec. Kingston is also located nearby the Thousand Islands, a tourist region to the east, and the Prince Edward County tourist region to the west. Kingston is nicknamed the "Limestone City" because of the many heritage buildings constructed using local limestone. Growing European exploration in the 17th century, and the desire for the Europeans to establish a presence close to local Native occupants to control trade, led to the founding of a French trading post and military fort at a site known as "Cataraqui" (generally pronounced /kætə'ɹɑkweɪ/, "kah-tah-ROCK-way") in 1673. Francis Gregory Stafford (February 9, 1948 – October 10, 2018), usually known as Greg Stafford, was an American game designer, publisher, and practitioner of shamanism. Stafford is most famous as the creator of the fantasy world of Glorantha, but he was also a prolific games designer. He was designer of ''Pendragon'', he was co-designer of the ''RuneQuest'', ''Ghostbusters'', Prince Valiant and ''HeroQuest'' role-playing systems, founder of the role-playing game companies Chaosium and Issaries, designer of the '' White Bear and Red Moon'', '' Nomad Gods'', '' King Arthur's Knights'' and '' Elric'' board games, and co-designer of the ''King of Dragon Pass'' computer game. Boba Fett
Boba Fett ( ) is a fictional character in the ''Star Wars'' franchise. First appearing in the ''Star Wars Holiday Special'' (1978), where he was voiced by Don Francks, he is an armored bounty hunter featured in both the original and prequel film trilogies. In the original trilogy, the character is a supporting antagonist and was mainly portrayed by Jeremy Bulloch and voiced by Jason Wingreen. Notable for his taciturn demeanor and for never removing his helmet, Fett appears in both ''The Empire Strikes Back'' (1980), employed by the Galactic Empire, and ''Return of the Jedi'' (1983), serving the crime lord Jabba the Hutt. While seemingly killed in ''Return of the Jedi'' after falling into a sarlacc, he has since appeared in ''Star Wars'' media set after the film, confirming his survival. Carmine Michael Infantino (; May 24, 1925 – April 4, 2013) was an American comics artist and editing, editor, primarily for DC Comics, during the late 1950s and early 1960s period known as the Silver Age of Comic Books.
