Devil's Due Publishing (often abbreviated as DDP) is an independent comic book publisher in the United States. Based in Chicago, Illinois, DDP is best known for its wide selection of genres, including licensed and original creator-owned properties that populate its monthly comic book series and graphic novels. Though principally a publishing company, DDP has also produced a stage play based on the Hack/Slash comic series, ''Stagefright'', in conjunction with the New Millennium Theatre Company that played at the National Pastime Theater on Broadway, Chicago from September 23 to October 29, 2005. History In 1998 Devil's Due Publishing started as both a commercial art studio and a small press comic-book publisher. The company soon shifted its focus to comic books, becoming one of the top ten publishers in North America.

''Dragons of Spring Dawning'' is a 1985 fantasy novel by American writers Tracy Hickman and Margaret Weis. The third book in the ''Dragonlance Chronicles'' series, it continues the events from ''Dragons of Winter Night'' (1985) and sets up the premise of the ''Dragonlance Legends'' trilogy, also written by Weis and Hickman. Originally published in September 1985, the novel has seen multiple reprints with the latest reprint in March 2004. It has also been adapted into a 12-issue comic book series. ''Dragons of Winter Night'' is a fantasy novel by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Based on the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' gaming modules, it is the second book in the Chronicles Trilogy, preceded by ''Dragons of Autumn Twilight'' and followed by ''Dragons of Spring Dawning''. It was the second ''Dragonlance'' novel, being released in 1985. It is the second novel in the ''Dragonlance Chronicles'' trilogy, which along with the '' Legends Trilogy'' introduces the ''Dragonlance'' world. Specifically, it details the darker days of the War of the Lance. The novel is part of the beginning of the entire series. It departs from the original game session that ''Dragons of Autumn Twilight'' was based upon, but is still based on the events of the previous novel. Comics Bulletin was a daily website covering the American comic-book industry. History Silver Bullet Comicbooks The site was founded in January 2000 as Silver Bullet Comicbooks by its New Zealand-based publisher/editor Jason Brice. During this period, the site made efforts to support retired comics professionals. In a Silver Bullet column called ''Past Masters'', contributor Clifford Meth wrote about his efforts to support ailing comic book artist Dave Cockrum. Publication history A 99 cent preview was published in June 2007 and the main series began in September 2007. Twelve issues were published up to October 2008. Plot It is the story of the human race in the early 21st century, and their encounter with alien beings who need their help in an intergalactic war. Without much choice, the humans of Earth are drafted into the conflict. In the one-shot publication ''Drafted: One Hundred Days'', scheduled to be shipped in June 2009, the story picks up after the first wave of alien attacks has been repulsed.
