Dawn White
Dawn White (born October 22, 1975) is an American politician and a Republican member of the Tennessee Senate representing the 13th district. She was formerly a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives representing District 37. White was elected to the Tennessee Senate in 2018, filling the seat vacated by Bill Ketron. Education White earned her BS in early childhood education and her MEd from Middle Tennessee State University. Tennessee's 13th Senate district is one of 33 districts in the Tennessee Senate. It has been represented by Republican Party (United States), Republican Dawn White since 2018, succeeding fellow Republican Bill Ketron. Geography District 13 is based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Murfreesboro, including most of the city proper as well as Smyrna, Tennessee, Smyrna and La Vergne, Tennessee, La Vergne in western Rutherford County, Tennessee, Rutherford County. The district is located entirely within Tennessee's 4th congressional district, and overlaps with the 34th, 37th, 48th, and 49th districts of the Tennessee House of Representatives.
