Davide Di Gennaro
Davide Di Gennaro (born 16 June 1988) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Serie D club Portici. Club career Early career Di Gennaro is a product of Milan's youth system, which he joined from amateur side Cimiano in 1995. There he went on to become the captain of their under-20 squad. On 19 May 2007, he made his first team debut, aged 18, in a Serie A game against Udinese. For the 2007–08 season the young midfielder was loaned out to Bologna in Serie B, where he scored two goal in 22 appearances, playing an important part in the club's promotion to Serie A. Serie A debut In August 2008, Di Gennaro was transferred to Genoa in a co-ownership deal, in compensation for Marco Borriello, who was brought back to Milan. Spezia Calcio
Spezia Calcio is a professional Association football, football club based in La Spezia, Liguria, Italy. Spezia Calcio was founded in 1906 by the Swiss banker Hermann Hurni (or Hurny in some documents), who played for the early Crystal Palace amateur teams in London during his time there as a student. He played for Crystal Palace again in 1909. The first Spezia playing kit, light blue and white, was a second-hand amateur Crystal Palace kit donated to Hurny when he returned to La Spezia. Italy National Under-21 Football Team
The Italy national under-21 football team is the national under-21 football team of Italy and is controlled by the Italian Football Federation. The team competes in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, held every two years. Italy (along with Spain) is the most successful nation in the history of the competition, with five Championships won (1992, 1994, 1996, 2000 and 2004). Italy has also been twice runner-up of the competition, in 1986 and 2013. From 1990 to 2004 the team established near-total dominance of European Under-21 football, winning five of the seven tournaments. San Siro
Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, commonly known as San Siro, is a football stadium in the San Siro district of Milan, Italy, which is the home of A.C. Milan and Inter Milan. Marco Borriello
Marco Borriello (; born 18 June 1982) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Throughout his career, Borriello played for several Italian clubs, including Treviso, Triestina, Milan, Empoli, Reggina, Sampdoria, Genoa, Roma, Juventus, Carpi, Atalanta, Cagliari and SPAL, as well as English side West Ham United and Spanish side Ibiza. Co-ownership (football)
Co-ownership is a system whereby two football clubs own the contract of a player jointly, although the player is only registered to play for one club. It is not a universal system, but is used in some countries, including Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. It was formerly commonplace in Italy, though the practice has now been abolished there. This type of deal differs from third-party ownership, in that in the latter, the player's contract is owned by a non-footballing entity, such as a management company. Italy Co-ownership deals were common in Italian football, before being banned at the end of the 2014–15 season.
