Davide Cimolai
Davide Cimolai (born 13 August 1989) is an Italian professional road and track bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Born in Pordenone, Cimolai has competed as a professional since the 2010 season, competing for the team until the end of 2011, when he joined the squad for the 2012 season. Cimolai made his Grand Tour début at the 2012 Vuelta a España, where he was the team's main sprinter in a climber-stacked squad; he finished inside the top ten of a stage for the first time, when he placed seventh on the second stage. Cimolai's first two professional wins came in 2015. He won the Italian Trofeo Laigueglia classic, then, a month later, won the fifth stage of Paris–Nice. In May 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Giro d'Italia. The 2013 Tour de France was the 100th edition of the Tour de France, one of cycling's Grand Tours. 2011 UEC European Track Championships
The 2011 European Track Championships was the second edition of the elite European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Omnisport Arena in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, between 21 and 23 October. All ten Olympic events, ( sprint, team sprint, keirin, team pursuit and omnium all for both men and women) and the non-Olympic men's madison championship and points races for both genders were held as part of the championships. The Championships were a qualification event for the 2012 Olympic Games. Team Time Trial
A team time trial (TTT) is a road bicycle race in which teams of cyclists race against the clock (see individual time trial for a more detailed description of ITT events). The winning team in a TTT is determined by the comparing the times of (usually) the fourth-finishing rider in each team (though the relevant finish position can be otherwise specified in advance by the race organisers). This means that each team will try to get their first four (at least) riders across the finish line in a tight group: it is actually a disadvantage for any rider to finish far in advance of the fourth rider, as by staying back a faster rider can help the fourth rider to get a quicker time.
