David Yurkovich
David Yurkovich (born 1964) is an American independent writer and illustrator of comic books and graphic novels. Career Yurkovich began self-publishing in 1996 following receipt of a grant from Peter Laird's (''Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'') acclaimed Xeric Foundation. Titles Yurkovich has written and illustrated include ''Altercations'', ''Haunted'', ''Death by Chocolate'', ''The S.H.O.P.'', and ''The Broccoli Agenda''. Largely out of print, Yurkovich's early work has been published in collected volumes by Top Shelf Productions as ''Less Than Heroes'' (2004) and ''Death by Chocolate: Redux'' (2007) and the self-published ''Altercations: Critical Super-Human Encounters of the 20th Century'' (2014). The Xeric Foundation is a private, nonprofit corporation based in Northampton, Massachusetts, which for twenty years List of Xeric grant winners, awarded self-publishing grants to comic book creators, as well as qualified charitable and nonprofit organizations. George Pérez (; June 9, 1954 – May 6, 2022) was an American comic book artist and writer, who worked primarily as a penciller. He came to prominence in the 1970s penciling ''Fantastic Four (comic book), Fantastic Four'' and ''The Avengers (comic book), The Avengers'' for Marvel Comics. In the 1980s he penciled ''New Teen Titans, The New Teen Titans'', which became one of DC Comics' top-selling series. Ed Hannigan (born August 6, 1951) is an Americans, American comics artist, writer, and editor for both Marvel Comics and DC Comics.
