David Watson (coach)
David Watson (born August 16, 1976) is an American football coach (sport), coach. He was most recently the defensive line, Defensive Line Coach for the University of Southern California (USC) USC Trojans, Trojans. Coaching career Watson began his college coaching career at NCAA Division II Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs football, Southwest Minnesota State. While there he served as a graduate assistant working with the defensive line in 2002, transitioning to a full-time assistant in 2003 handling the defensive line, linebackers and the front seven. In 2004, he served as a Defensive Graduate Assistant for Michigan State Spartans football, Michigan State. Watson joined the staff at USC in February 2005, serving his first year as an offensive line graduate assistant.
