David Wallumrød
David Wallumrød (born 2 October 1977 in Kongsberg, Norway) is a Norwegian pianist, known from cooperations with artists such as Knut Reiersrud, Torun Eriksen, Jarle Bernhoft, Marit Larsen, Maria Solheim, Vidar Busk, Bigbang, Maria Mena, Thomas Dybdahl and Bjørn Eidsvåg. He is the cousin of the musical artists Susanna Wallumrød, Fredrik Wallumrød and Christian Wallumrød. Career Wallumrød is the keyboardist within the band "Cloudberry Cream" together with Axel Røthe (drums), Nikolai Eilertsen, Nikolai Hængsle Eilertsen (bass), Knut Reiersrud (guitar), and Knut Røthe (guitar and vocals). In the summer of 2013 he was part of the "Bushman's Revenge" appearance at Kongsberg Jazz Festival, together with Kjetil Møster. Kongsberg
Kongsberg () is a historical mining town and municipality in Buskerud, Viken county, Norway. The city is located on the river Numedalslågen at the entrance to the valley of Numedal. Kongsberg has been a centre of silver mining, arms production and forestry for centuries, and is the site of high technology industry including the headquarters of Norway's largest defence contractor Kongsberg Gruppen. Fredrik Wallumrød
Fredrik Wallumrød (born 21 September 1973 in Kongsberg, Norway) is a Norwegian drummer and composer, known for his collaborations with musicians like Karl Seglem, Trygve Seim, Solveig Slettahjell, Jarle Bernhoft, Lene Marlin, Maria Mena, and the band Span. He is the younger brother of the pianist Christian Wallumrød, older brother of the singer Susanna Wallumrød, and cousin to the pianist David Wallumrød. Career Wallumrød is educated at the Jazz Program at '' Trondheim Musikkonservatorium'' (1992). He started the Funk jazz electronica band Squid, together with bassist Vemund Stavnes. The two of them later joined the rock band Span replacing Rouge (Roger Zernichow-Brekke) på bass og Rage V (Vegard Eriksfallet) på trommer. Samsaya
Sampda Sharma, better known by her stage name Samsaya, is a Norwegian singer and actress of Indian descent. Early life Samsaya was born Sampda Sharma in Hamirpur to an Indian mother, Aruna Sharma, in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Needlepoint (band)
Needlepoint (initiated in 2010 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz-rock band. Biography Needlepoint includes some leading Norwegian jazz musicians according to Tor Hammerø. The band started out as a trio with Bjørn Klakegg, Nikolai Hængsle and Thomas Strønen in 2010 releasing the album ''The Woods Are Not What They Seem'' (2010). David Wallumrød joined the team in 2012 and the album ''Outside The Screen'' was released the same year. Olaf Olsen known from Bigbang, replaced Thomas Strønen in 2014. Kjetil Møster
Kjetil Traavik Møster (born 17 June 1976) is a Norwegian jazz musician ( tenor and soprano saxophones, clarinet and bass clarinet) and composer, known from bands like The Core, Ultralyd, Brat, Zanussi 5, and performance with Chick Corea at Moldejazz 2000, later released on CD. He has also made his mark with experimental performances at the interface between electronic based fri-rock and jazz.
